Axl pushes for the high notes and doesn’t quite get as far as Cornell could get, only more fitting to still try for it anyway to show the fans they really meant it. Slash rips an insane solo over the end, though, so it all works out in the end. Axl closes the song with a simple, “For Chris…” before moving onto one of the other tracks from their canon.
