Southern rock band Gov’t Mule have given fans a taste of what to expect on their upcoming live album/film combo, Bring On The Music – Live at The Capitol Theatre.
The group released the first cut of their film featuring the track “Life Before Insanity.”
“I’m happy we included the song “Life Before Insanity,” the title track of our third record, as it is a good representation of that era of the band. The fans will enjoy it as it hadn’t been performed in quite a while and we just recently started playing it again,” said Gov’t Mule frontman Warren Haynes.
The entire film was captured on nine cameras by famous music photographer and director Danny Clinch, who has worked with Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Phish, Foo Fighters, and many others over the years. The film covers two performances at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY from April 27 and 28, 2018.
The full film is set to release on June 28 of this year and promises over five hours of live music, as well interviews with the band and behind the scenes footage.
