The last time Foo Fighters played a live show at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on 9/29/12, Barack Obama was still in his first term as president and the word “twerk” hadn’t even made its improbable way into the dictionary. It all seems like ancient history now. After 15 months on the shelf, Grohl & Co. have just announced plans for a great big show with The National in Mexico City (the Foo Fighters first-ever show in Mexico) to take place on December 13th.
