Diplo and SIDEPIECE have teamed up for their first ever collaboration, a new banger called “On My Mind,” out today via the Higher Ground imprint on Mad Decent (his house label).
Producer duo SIDEPIECE, the collaborative duo of Party Favor and Nitti Gritti, said it took a bit of “going back and forth to get the mix just right but were finally able to nail it,” and that “Diplo has been rinsing this one out for over a year now and the reaction has been amazing so far.”
Wait until you hear where this track goes, too. A perfect swingy house beat anchors the track, but that vocal sample becomes haunting very quickly and the heavy rave synth hits find places to surprise you in the song structure, making it a perfect track to start working into your sets.
