Dead & Company just finished off their first show of Summer Tour 2021 at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, North Carolina, their first show back following the shutdowns and show cancellations in 2020.
In case you’re out of the loop, this is the lineup that’s been steady for the past few years and features Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, who are joined by Jeff Chimenti, Oteil Burbridge and John Mayer.
Their first show back sounded pretty strong from the couch. The Help > Slipknot! > Franklin’s was particularly strong, in my opinion, but the rest of show had its moments.
Check out the setlist and poster below. We’ll post some clips tomorrow.
