Dead and Company have confirmed a huge summer tour for next year. Earlier this week, some dates had started to leak out so we knew the announcement was right around the corner somewhere, and today we got the full list of dates. Bob Weir, John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, Oteil Burbridge, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann will again make up the band carrying forward the spirit of The Grateful Dead to much of the fans’ delight.
The band will kick things off with a two night run at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California before heading down to LA for two shows at the Hollywood Bowl. Then the band even has two nights at Gorge planned and two nights at Wrigley Field planned (with only one night at Deer Creek in between). Other schedule dates include a stop at Citi Field in New York again, including a stop at SPAC and Lakewood in Atlanta. The band’s final two nights of the tour will be as expected at Boulder, Colorado’s Folsom Field.
