Props to the Camp Bisco crew for getting some great attention this year; they got a great writeup in the NY Times showing that they know what’s what about putting together a successful festival…
As the music business continues to shift from an emphasis on recorded-product sales and toward live performances and other kinds of direct engagement with fans, a successful festival of one’s own has become a milestone for the sort of bands that don’t play the same set list night after night.
We didn’t have any photographers or writers on-hand specifically for this site, so not sure what type of updates we’ll get posted besides the ones we find online. I hope to make it to this next year.
