Brandon “Taz” Niederauer was in Chicago yesterday doing something I can only imagine would still remain one of the true honors to every shredder guitar player — being asked to deliver The National Anthem.
Where?
At the place every shredder would truly want to — Wrigley Field.
Taz was in the Chicago area to play Summer Camp and it looks like his rendition helped the Chicago Cubs kick some San Francisco Giants butt yesterday.
Did someone get video?
Yes! Check out the video below. Very much a proper version and a great recording from his buddy up front.
“The Star-Spangled Banner” @ Wrigley Field
What did you think?
Personally, I love it. He shows a lot of restraint at the beginning and really gets loose by the end of the video.
The dude can absolutely shred on command, and it’s a super challenging audience to be seeing a Chicago hometown crowd ready to get the game started on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
That is not a crowd you can make a mistake in front of. And he delivers in spades.
Where is Taz next?
He’ll be back in Chicago in a few weeks playing Martyr’s and he’s got a full schedule booked in the upcoming weeks. Check out his dates here.
