BadBadNotGood announce Late Night Tales Comp & release new track "To You"

Up-and-coming jazz cats from Toronto known as BadBadNotGood have been a crew that we’ve been paying more attention to as of late. They’ve got jazz chops for days and their collab roster is starting to run pretty deep, which is always a good sign that they’ve got some staying power.

In another nod to that easy prediction, check out this news that they’ll be releasing a Late Night Tales compilation on July 28, 2017. They put out a cover on the comp, “To You”, an original by Andy Shauf off The Party (2016). Stream the track below…

Full tracklist is amazing, and if you heard the stream above you would have already heard some of our faves like Boards Of Canada, Thundercat, plus this sick-ass track called “Disco Dancer”. This is a can’t miss release. Here’s what the band had to say about it:

“We were really excited to have the chance to put together a Late Night Tales compilation. We decided to use it as a vehicle to show everyone all the amazing music we have gotten to experience by touring and meeting new people. Every track on this comp was either shown to us by an incredible person or made by one of our friends. We also included a little cover of a song by one of our favourite current musicians, Andy Shauf. These artists, as well as many, many others, have influenced us to create and kept our deep love of music alive. This mix will keep you company on a quiet night by yourself or with friends. You can check it out on the plane, the bus, a long walk, or any situation where you want a soundtrack for reflection and meditation.”
