Animal Collective has been forced to cancel the remainder of their tour due to two members of the band testing positive for COVID, specifically, Dave Portnoy (Avey Tare) and Josh Dibb (Deakin). The message posted on the band’s socials said both of them are pretty sick and can’t play shows right now.

I was half-relieved when the San Francisco show was cancelled because we’ve been promised a reschedule, but then the band had to cancel more shows and just pulled the plug on the rest of the tour. Ugh. Hope they’re okay.
