Single-day tickets for Lollapalooza 2006 are now available for $60 a piece. Ouch — this actually seems too expensive for me.
I think that the ticket prices are a little too high. But I think i would pay anything to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Shins. Its all about the experience, at the concert. Which makes the value of the ticket good. Since you never know what to expect at 3-day concerts.

I think my issue is that $140/$150 might be too much to charge for a three day music festival in Chicago. I’m not sure that they could keep selling this thing out at that rate but it’s yet to be seen for certain…

It could only be too expensive if two single-days cost more than the three day. Anything less, and it totally makes sense for people who aren’t going to make it to all three days.
