John Mayer closed out the first set of his solo show last night in Los Angeles and gave the crowd at The Forum a taste of his Dead & Company vibes with a cover of the Jerry Garcia lead “Fire on the Mountain”. The Grateful Dead cover has appeared numerous times on this tour, but every time it still feels a bit news-worthy to me.
