Earth Tongue are returning to the US this summer and fall with a wide-ranging tour that includes stops at Field of Vision and Levitation Festival. The run supports their recent album Dungeon Vision, which has earned strong reviews and pushed their profile further across the international psych-rock scene. Alongside the festival appearances, the band will play a mix of headline and support dates across the country – bringing their heavy, stripped-down sound to both large and intimate stages.

In a press release, Earth Tongue’s team announced that their tour will kick off on August 7th at Vista, CA.

Their third album ‘Dungeon Vision’ was released in February this year on In The Red Records, landing them critical acclaim, and sending them tailspinning on a seemingly endless international tour. The Kiwi band are on a steady upward trajectory and you should catch them at these intimate venues while you can!

Now based in Berlin, guitarist Gussie Larkin and drummer Ezra Simons wrote Dungeon Vision after a busy summer touring schedule throughout Europe and the UK. The pair headed to Los Angeles to record with garage-rock icon Ty Segall, a collaboration that came about after the band supported him on tour in New Zealand and Europe.

The pair were awarded “Best Group” at the 2025 Aotearoa Music Awards, cementing their spot as one of our most electrifying psych-rock acts. With their world-building aesthetic and relentless energy, Earth Tongue are sure to provide an unforgettable show – celebrating the release of their most visionary record to date.

“Saucer-eyed mysticism and granite riffs on a Ty Segall-produced LP by Kiwis guitarist Gussie Larkin and drummer Ezra Simons. Segall brings density without excess distortion as the duo balance Iron Man-in-neon-boots heaviness and witching hour psych-folk (Silver Eye).” – MOJO

“It’s in the ballpark of Osees or a lesser legged King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard… Gussie Larkin’s voice recalls that of Lori S. from Acid King. Ezra Simons knows his way around every inch of his drumkit.” – THE QUIETUS

“Top-volume riffs, sinister vocal harmonies, they conjure a strange and disturbing effect… a new level of singed crispiness.” – ALLMUSIC

“It is a brilliant, distorted vision of what can be achieved when the raw spirit of garage rock meets the disciplined mind of the progressive auteur.”

– BIG TAKEOVER

“The best work of their career. Seek this one out. You will be blown away.” – NEW NOISE
