Politics. Ugh, amiright?
I mean, this is a music blog, we try to keep politics out of here for the most part. But here we are with a new President of the United States and suddenly we’ve got every would-be ambulance chaser or schemer in the world looking around at how they can capitalize on the polarizing politic landscape.
Even EDM producers are throwing their hat in the ring; take this guy Angelo Amaze from Prague. He took some standard four-on-the-floor house kicks, threw some dubstep wobbles and bleeps over the top, and took some random Donald Trump samples and made this into…. uhm…. something banger, I guess?

To me it’s a straight-up dancefloor clearer. I’d dare any club DJ to play that in the US, even in Red states.
Why would you keep politics out? Music has always been force in political expression and political change. Have you ever heard of the Beatles…? They were censored by many countries. What about the song “We Shall Overcome”? – The US Civil Rights Movement. Music is art and a form of expression and to be quite honest it really doesn’t sound any worse than the already oversaturated EDM genre.
