Dave Matthews Covers Paul Simon on Kimmel, Announces Verizon ‘Pay It Forward Live’ Livestream

Dave Matthews is in self-isolation at home like the rest of the United States, and last night he was a guest on the Jimmy Kimmel show and covered the Paul Simon tune, “American Tune” which you can see below.

Tomorrow night he’ll be the first guest as part of a new series by Verizon called Pay It Forward Live, “a weekly streaming entertainment series that will include music, gaming, comedy and more in support of small businesses affected by COVID-19.”
The 30-minute performances, where artists will create intimate concerts from their homes, will give viewers a way to connect during this time of social distancing and a way to support their favorite small business now. The concerts will stream live at 8:00 p.m. ET on Twitter @verizon and on Yahoo Entertainment. Additional artists and partners will be announced at a later date.
The weekly series will debut on Thursday, March 26, at 8:00 p.m. ET with a performance from Dave Matthews.
