Danna Enters a New Dimension with ‘WET DREAMS’ EP

DANNA’s new EP, WET DREAMS, marks a bold new chapter in her VISIONS project. The seven-track release explores desire, self-expression and feminine empowerment – through a more sensual and confident sound. It invites listeners to embrace their desires and connect with themselves and let go of inhibition.

For DANNA, WET DREAMS represents a shift in energy from the world she established with LUCID DREAMS, the five-track EP that introduced VISIONS earlier this year through a more introspective, mystical and dreamlike lens. If LUCID DREAMS existed in a space between dreams and reality, WET DREAMS brings that energy down to earth. It is physical, instinctive and fueled by the feeling of surrendering to what moves you.

“WET DREAMS is a journey into 100% sensuality. It’s a journey into heat, connecting with your inner fire and with feminine empowerment. It’s an invitation to let go,” DANNA explains. “I think what this music creates is the ability to release yourself, enjoy yourself and let your body move.”
That idea of inner fire is reflected throughout the EP, from its music and themes to its striking artwork by acclaimed photographer and visual artist Elizaveta Porodina. In the image, DANNA appears dressed in gold as a flame emerges from her body — a visual representation of the instinct that drives people toward what they truly desire. Whether it is dancing without inhibition, surrendering to attraction or simply allowing yourself to feel, WET DREAMS is ultimately about embracing that impulse rather than resisting it.
At the heart of the EP is “DOLCE VITA,” DANNA’s highly anticipated collaboration with Mexican superstar Belinda. More than a meeting of two of Mexico’s most recognizable artists, the song represents DANNA’s desire to celebrate women creating alongside one another rather than competing for the same space. The EP also features “SI SE ACABA EL MUNDO” with El Malilla and “XULA” with Nicole Horts.
WET DREAMS is the latest chapter in VISIONS, a project DANNA has spent approximately two years developing as a multigenre body of work in which each EP explores a distinct world, sound and perspective, with another chapter still to come. While LUCID DREAMS introduced the dreamlike foundation of the universe, WET DREAMS turns toward the physical — inviting listeners to feel, move, desire and ultimately enjoy themselves.
