Bleeding Kansas Arts & Music Festival 2006

For a wonderful alternative to Lollapalooza 2006’s massive-ivity

August 5, 2006
Lawrence, KS

“Today, Lawrence is recognized as an oasis of expression and liberalism in an increasingly conservative Kansas. The Bleeding Kansas Festival is a celebration of that distinction. The musical line-up for the inaugural Festival will bring together some of the most innovative bands in the independent music scene. Along with the music line-up, the Festival will host artists from around the region who have been invited to share their work and ideas.”

I don’t imagine that the indie kids will experience the same roadblocks that the hippie kids had to deal with, but that’s just an educated guess.
