Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers played Conan O’Brien last night and brought our second-favorite Bay Area bassist, Reed Mathis (after Les Claypool, of course) down to Los Angeles for the trip. They played “Little Too Late” off their self-titled LP and Nicki was stunning as always, and Reed definitely made his presence known on stage. Steve Adams would have normally filled that slot but he was in New York City for the Incidental Animals show.
If you don’t like gettin’ old, well you’ll hate the other choice…
