When I saw both Soundgarden and Pearl Jam listed as part of the lineup on this year’s two-day Bridge School Benefit concerts, I knew it was a lock that we could see one of those songs performed live that we all grew up with: “Hunger Strike” by Temple of the Dog. One of the largest hits of our young, alternative suburban-kid lifestyle and arguably a song that never gets old, it indeed happened yesterday at the first day of the Bridge School Benefit down in Mountain View at Shoreline Amphitheatre.
