Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers kicked off a nation-wide tour with Gov’t Mule in Portland, ME tonight and just before they hit the stage they uploaded another one of their popular Van Session videos to Youtube. Last year their simple van video cover of a Hall & Oates classic (“I Can’t Go For That”) went viral on YouTube gaining them 2 million+ views. For their latest, it’s a cover of the Steve Miller Band’s “Take the Money and Run” which you can watch now.
If you’re up early enough (8:30 AM) tomorrow morning tune into CBS This Morning for a feature on the band which will likely mention the popular van session videos. Check out their upcoming tour dates including sets at Mountain Jam, Bonnaroo and the Newport Folk Festival.
