Bob Dylan honored Tom Petty last night with a cover of the Petty classic, “Learning to Fly”. Dylan and Petty were part of the incredible supergroup The Traveling Wilburys back in the day, and Bob Dylan was playing the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado when he decided to play for his friend.

I had forgotten that the band didn’t take their own name when they played, so this YouTuber who recorded the video got this caption dead right. What a great version and a fitting tribute from a legend…
