Followers of the @MayorEmanuel feed might remember a string of tweets from the fake mayoral candidate proposing that Jeff Tweedy perform Black Eyed Peas songs at his fundraiser, because “People love that s***.” Well, fantasy became reality this evening as Tweedy launched into a short set of Black Eyed Peas tunes, playing through acoustic versions of “I Gotta Feeling” and “Rock That Body.” Tweedy also did a thoroughly hilarious reading of the lyrics to “My Humps.”
