David Byrne and St. Vincent (Annie Clark) have just released an NPR-produced documentary detailing their rehearsals for their Love This Giant tour. Byrne and St. Vincent just recently played The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA supported by an eight-piece brass ensemble. The two perform songs they’ve collaborated on for Love This Giant and perform select songs from their solo catalog and from the Talking Heads including “Naive Melody”, “Road To Nowhere”, and an electric performance of “Burning Down the House.” I was personally impressed with Byrne’s performance of “Lazy” from his collaboration with X-Press 2 in 2002.
