While the portion of the Benevento / Russo Duo’s set featuring members of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey and boatloads of others in an extended, instrumental switch-out jam session featuring as much jazz-fusion as any one person could physically handle was fun to watch, musically, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.
