Sigur Rós closed out the Iceland Airwaves festival marathon on Sunday night in Reykajvik, putting on a highly-anticipated first show in their home country in four years. Notably, Jonsi and Co. unveiled a new tune called “Brennisteinn” which you can watch below.

“The Jónsi genius is yet unchanged, maybe more mature, and the sound of the band is even improved. The visual installation was something huge and completely outstanding, chapeaux. Could have been maybe a little distracting from the band performance, but hey! If this is a distraction I’m fine to deal with it.”
