This weekend, Phish returned to George, WA to perform a highly-touted seventh set of shows up at The Gorge Amphitheatre, giving fans making the trek to the incomparably scenic and remote concert destination everything they could ask for and then some. The weekend will certainly be remembered years from now for the wildfire in the area that cut off direct access to many via US-97 (and provided some awe-inspiring hues in the surrounding skies at sunset on Saturday), a “Crosseyed and Painless”-infused first night, a fitting tribute to the recently-passed J.J. Cale on Saturday with “After Midnight” and an overwhelmingly successful altogether weekend for all involved.
