I think this an interesting approach to releasing their new album. It seems like they’re basically making disc one the more jam-heavy dance material they’re known for in concert, while disc two is focused on a composed prog/post-rock approach, which seems to be the trend with these guys.
Anyone else hear a Ratatat influence in the track featured here (“Simian”)?
