Bob Weir has been a busy bee this week; he was in Los Angeles receiving an award at the NAMM show then flew out to NYC joining Danny Clinch and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band for a night of celebration, music, photography, etc. for MusiCares.
The PHJB wasted no time flexing their guests for the evening, welcoming Zac Brown and Brandi Carlile during the exciting set. At around 11:30pm, Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir stepped up for another surprise performance of “Iko Iko”, contributing vocals and his signature rhythm guitar to the classic New Orleans song.
