Phish kicked off their first night in Nashville with the “Tweezer Reprise” that would have ended the Hampton 2018 (except for that fact that they already had two encores done), and they went on to deliver some of my faves and even a “Cool It Down” which hadn’t made an appearance in quite a while.
The second set kicked off with a must-hear moment of “Mike’s Song” transitioning into “Ghost” in a way that definitely had some flex behind it. Can’t wait to listen to this, I saw Twitter blow up behind this.
The Nashville Mike's > Ghost shows the best of what can happen when four master musicians have 32 years of jamming together under their belts #phish

And no one can deny the “Third Stone from the Sun” tease in “Weekapaug Groove” potentially putting some mustard behind the Jimi Hendrix Halloween rumors that always surface every year (and will until the band actually picks something from his catalog).
The band is webcasting their second show in Nashville tonight for FREE via LivePhish.com. Tune in here.
