The Rolling Stones weren’t the only high profile artist to reschedule a high-profile gig in New Orleans this spring.
Foo Fighters were scheduled to be the first act to play and help open The Fillmore New Orleans, including even a special parade featuring the Foos around the Mardi Gras celebrations in February, but a similar injury sidelined Dave Grohl and forced them to push back the shows.
In this clip Dave explained why the shows were postponed:
Thankfully the Foos got to the Big Easy to christen the venue in their own special way, and last night’s first show of the run featured a lot of the Foo live moments you’d come to expect at this point.
