Bob Weir and Wolf Bros kicked off their spring tour tonight at the State Theatre in Ithaca, New York.
The band played a good mix of some of the Grateful Dead classics they’ve played before, like “The Music Never Stopped” to open the show with an “Easy Answers” sandwich in the middle. Other Bobby tunes like “Black-Throated Wind” and “Let It Grow” made appearances in the first set.
Second set started with “Scarlet Begonias” with no fire after, but other Bobby staples like “Jack Straw” and “Cassidy” came during the set instead. Dylan’s classic “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” and the classic “Not Fade Away” closed the set.
Another Dylan classic “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue” closed the show and sent everyone off into the night.
