On Friday night, String Cheese returned to Southern California after a very long absence of incidents. The group usually skips the LA area and heads up to Northern California but not this time. The band looked energized and ready to play as the crowd slowly filtered into the theatre. Some were stuck in traffic and missed a very good version of MLT. It was full of teases from the Grateful Dead’s Shakedown Street and once the entire band latched on it was full sailing from there. The setlist and photos after the jump
