Midnight

It was darker-than-all-get-out! at the Secret Machines midnight show at the Metro this past Saturday night. The show was fantastic, though. It easily fulfilled all my Secret Machine desires, and because it was all darky and stuff, my photos are less than fantastic. None of that matters, though. It’s the thought that counts.
The band opened up with “Alone, Jealous & Stoned” and took that right into “The Road Leads Where Its Lead,”–talk about solid. They played everything that I wanted to hear, including a rarer “Better Bring Your Friends” from one of their EP’s, and it was truly one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen.
Here’s a video clip of “Sad and Lonely” that captures the mood and shows how they worked their dark-to-flashy-strobey lights.
Don’t never not catch them live if their coming through your village.
