This comes in from reader and LMB-friend Chris Kawalek. It sounds like there was a pretty cool festival last weekend that did not happen in Las Vegas.
Well, it wasn’t Vegoose but it sure was a wonderful Halloween weekend for concerts up in northeast Ohio. Nelson Ledges Quarry Park hosted their annual “Gory at the Quarry” festival, and amazingly for the second year in a row had nice weather. Ekoostik Hookah once again headlined the event, promoting it as the last festival with their current lineup.
Earlier this year it was announced that Ed McGee would be leaving the band when they go on hiatus after the New Years concert. Since the announcement the band has made it clear that they are going to enjoy the time they have left together and bust out some of the best shows I’ve seen in the past years.
The other bands all put on wonderful shows, and the costumes were outrageous, but I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking:
