Day three of the festival was chock full of wonderful acts, with music as varied as Reignwolf’s passionate guitar slashing to Apparat’s cool Belgian electronic grooves. Deer Tick playfully took the stage, smoking and talking while they finished up their sound check. Apparat thrilled the crowd when he played the track “Rusty Nails,” from his side project Moderat with fellow producer Modeselektor. James Murphy’s name on the bill had one hoping he’d spin LCD songs (after their breakup last year), but he stuck to other musician’s records. The set had the Banana Shack bumping and swaying regardless.
