I quickly realized exactly how talented Caspa is when he stepped onstage and began mixing with ease. I hand’t kept track of him since highschool when he was releasing tracks with Rusko, and was blown away by his skill and banging beats and sophisticated transitions. Caspa’s set definitely brought us back to dubstep, mixing in artists such as Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, and 12th Planet. Once some house blended in with the different melodies, I scanned the crowd with a grin. In the misty darkness, a pair of glowing fingers could be seen peeking through the bodies; and a single LED lit balloon was floating above. There were some ravers out there, but they were just hiding. My focus returned to Caspa’s face, who had a huger grin plastered. The amount of fun he was having throughout the entirety of his set was contagious.
