It’s Saturday night in the State Capitol and we’re going to space, man!
No, not quite, but surely a thought that cross ones mind upon first glance at The Egg Preforming Arts Center.
Set in an urban commons area, the venue is surrounded by an abundance of impressive architecture. The futuristic feel resembles a scene from your favorite sci-fi classic.
Right around eight o’clock the band promptly hit the stage and woke up the audience to the tune of “Waking Up Dead”. Serenading the crowd from the edge of the stage, the band again showcased their innovative ways to involve the crowd.
The ultimate highlight of the night happened when Mike invited members of the audience up on stage to dance along to the music.
With an extra dose of excitement in the air, Albany sure was feeling it and the band channeled the energy all night long.
