This past weekend while Dead & Company was down in Mexico at Playing in the Sand, fans of the Grateful Dead that were stateside were likely at the three night run at the Capitol Theatre featuring Joe Russo’s Almost Dead instead. The band anchored around Joe Russo behind the drumkit was once again Marco Benevento, Tom Hamilton, Scott Metzger and Dave Drewitz, and on that evening they even welcomed some extra special guests in the form of guitarist Chris Harford from Band of Changes.
