Woods, Brooklyn’s preeminent folk-psych-rock group and favorite of the LMB staff, have just announced spring and summer tour dates in conjunction with a new 7″ record coming July 9th on Woodsist Records. Woods will first hit the road in May with dates throughout Europe before kicking off their U.S./Canadian tour on July 13th at TT the Bear’s Place in Cambridge, MA. We’ll be there to cover the US tour opener! Woods will be joined in July by Brooklyn’s punk-rock outfit, Parquet Courts before wrapping up their tour at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom with fellow Woodsist labelmates, Alex Bleeker and The Freaks. You can also listen to a recently uploaded track of “God’s Children” (The Kinks), which will be included as a B-side on the July 9th release:
