Widespread Panic just finished up their headlining show at this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
The band brought out bass legend and co-founder of funk group The Meters, George Porter, Jr., and things couldn’t have been funkier on stage for their antics during “I Walk On Guilded Splinters > Familiar Reality” during the sit-in.
The band sounded great from the stream and I think there were nothing but happy Jazz Fest fans enjoying a lemonade of a set after The Rolling Stones were forced to cancel, and Widespread Panic brought it for the people that made it out to the fairgrounds today.
