The BBC plans to celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus this Easter with a procession through the streets of Manchester, featuring musicians from The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays, and songs by The Smiths and New Order. Seriously.

In Oprah Book Club news, that friggin’ idiot Frey finally came out and acknowledged that he sold fiction as truth. To me, I was simply outraged by the fact that it took this long for him to admit that he was wrong, even though everyone knew he was wrong the entire time. Yeah, he’s an idiot to me, but whatever.
Wilco has announced some Spring 2006 tour dates. Nothing directly in Chicago yet for me, but I could always drive an hour or so…that’s not so bad.
