You’d have to be living under a rock to not be seeing the news that Phish is in the midst of an absolutely HUGE run at Madison Square Garden dubbed The Baker’s Dozen, 13 shows of the band just absolutely blowing fans’ minds. It’s been great to watch from the couch for sure, and so many of my buddies are there loving the shows and it’s been awesome to see.
On the band’s path to a no-repeats run, each song is getting its own place in the entirety of the shows and some of them are going to expanded, glorious places. A perfect example of that was the “A Song I Heard The Ocean Sing” that came out of “Drowned” to open the second set of night eight (rainbow jimmies night!).
LivePhish just released this as the official highlight of that show, which you can now watch below…
The band returns tonight for Night 10: HOLES. CAN’T. WAIT.
