moe. returned to the stage last night as a full-fledged band with the return of bassist Rob Derhak following a quick-but-scary battle with cancer. The band came out on stage to the lights-up and the front row of the balcony dropping a banner saying “Welcome back, Rob!” with huge cheers all around.
After thanking the crowd, Rob then lead the band through their classic “Rebubula” to huge ovations all around. Hard not to get emotional seeing such a happy fan base ready to welcome one of their jedi masters back into the fold. Plus that lyrical refrain of “I’ll find my way back to you” is just too perfect to not kick it off again.
