You hear that, folks? There are still many more bands to be announced and they’re truly doing everything they can to prevent the issues that road-blocked their way up at last year’s Wakarusa…
We’ve been working with security and law enforcement to develop programs and procedures to ensure all festival patrons have a safe and enjoyable time at Wakarusa 2007. Thanks again for your continued support and feedback regarding this.
Also, they’re deploying a team of “St. Bernards” to act as the festival street team while the festival is going on. Port-o-potty’s need to be cleaned? Find a St. Bernard. Woken up by weird night-terror hippie clearly tripping on something wayyyyyy too hard? Find a St. Bernard and get yourself some earplugs. All in all, not a bad idea to remind festival patrons that you are actually trying to put on a safe, clean and fun festival and not some money-making venture with bands present.
