Well, it’s early as hell in Chicago and the first reports from Vegoose are already streaming in. Largehearted boy rounds up the SBC Blue Room performances that will be webcast today, so check that out if you have a chance. I’ll post the same lineup after the jump…
It looks as though some of the collaborations have been great so far, and not that we’d expect anything short of greatness coming out of the sheer musical talent descendent upon one sinful city. Warren Haynes sat in with Umphrey’s McGee on a cover of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song and didn’t actually sit in anywhere else. Man, Warren must be saving his energy for Saturday night’s shows. Al from moe. sat in with UM as well on their own Partyin’ Peeps. DJ Logic sat in with Gov’t Mule and dueled with Matt Abts; now that’s friggin’ cool. And certainly not to be ignored, Pauly farted on a stripper’s head. Good stuff. [Relix]
I’ll be at my computer today watching some of the webcast performances, and I’ll be posting updates as I find them. Word.
