Yesterday, Umphrey’s McGee announced that this year’s Halloween performance “All Night Wrong” will be broadcast live on channel AXS TV. Umphrey’s McGee will offer two sets on 10/31, with one set being voted on entirely by the fans. Check out how to vote and more info on how to catch Umphrey’s on AXS TV on October 31st.
Umphreys.com: Adding to the fun is the rare appearance of an All Night Wrong performance, featuring a 2nd set comprised entirely of fan voted cover songs. In the spirit of the encouraging widespread voter participation (’tis the season), we’re opening the ballot up to concert attendee and home viewer alike. Providing fans a list of over 40 cover songs ranging from Van Halen to Prince to the Beastie Boys, fans can vote on the set list of their choice through this link.
This one of a kind Umphrey’s McGee LIVE concert event will air Wednesday, October 31st all starting at 9:00pm ET / 6:00pm PT exclusively on AXS TV.
The channel, formely HDNET, is now run by Dallas Maverick’s owner, Mark Cuban, and has started featuring live concerts as a main source of programming. Scanning over the ballot, I’d love to see Umphrey’s cover Wilco’s “Spiders (Kidsmoke).” That gets my vote along with Frank Zappa’s “Zombie Woof.” This programming is a pretty good alternative if you can’t make it out to a show on Wednesday night. Trick Or Treat Or Couch Tour.
