Trey Anastasio just shared a new song on his socials called “The Greater Good” that was filmed “on location,” showing a bit of a glimpse into Trey’s little social isolation lair. The song is a strummer that you’d hear out of someone like Jeff Tweedy or Neil Young, and Trey adds some serious emotion on this one with a tour of his self-quarantined decorations. Great tune.
Watch the clip below. This follows up FOUR songs he released last week as demos and each one seems to build on the depth of this coronavirus outbreak and the emotions we’re all feeling collectively as a nation.
