Trey Anastasio continued his solo acoustic tour on Monday night in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at the Pablo Center at the Confluence, a relatively brand new venue for the area. And while we didn’t get a sit-in I was predicting with Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon, who proudly and famously calls Eau Claire home, Trey did bust out his first-ever cover of “Towers” from the Bon Iver self-titled release.
Along with that surprise, Scott Marks noted that it was the first-ever acoustic “Ruby Waves” (didn’t hit 37 minutes, though) and the first “Fluffhead” acoustic in like, 20 years.
