Phish just released the rest of their Summer Tour itinerary via another awesomely wacky announcement video featuring our favorite drummer Jon Fishman. Last we saw Fishman he was training hard to “First Tube” and getting the Electro-Lux ready for action. However, for the second Leg, he seems to be indulging himself in everything from Easter Peeps to Cheeseballs while gearing up for Couch Tour. The perfect “Sloth” as it were. Even a sensitive Gordeaux makes a cameo appearance before the dates are dropped. From Long Beach to Labor Day, nine cities and 13 shows, including Phish’s first ever performance in the state of Oklahoma!

Here’s how it shapes up:

I can say right off the bat that the shows at San Francisco’s Bill Graham are going to be the toughest ticket of Summer and a much different vibe than 2010’s Greek Theatre shows. Phish has decided to step indoors for the first four shows of the 2nd leg, an odd decision, but one that actually has some benefits and goes along with the first leg’s DCU Center opener. Two full sets of Chris Kuroda each night and no curfew can’t be a bad thing. The Oklahoma date stands out since it’ll be the first time the band has played the state. The venue known as The Zoo is just waiting for that epic Slave to be dropped. Phish wraps up summer tour on Labor Day, returning to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for the second year in a row. I wonder which letter will be the theme this time? Hmmm…
Don’t discount this part of the announcement also:
No additional Phish dates will be announced for Summer or Fall of 2012.
