Guitarist extraordinaire Gary Clark Jr. has just announced that he will join Kings of Leon on the first leg of their 2014 U.S. arena tour, which kicks off in Atlanta on February 5th and wraps up March 8th in Chicago. Pre-sales for select dates begin on October 29th, while tickets go on sale to the general public beginning November 1st. Clark has been on the road throughout the fall for a sold-out headlining theater tour in support of his debut full-length Blak and Blu, which continues through November 29th. It will be interesting to see how this jumping on board with a band of KoL’s international popularity helps further boost Clark’s notoriety and if the two acts plan to collaborate out on the road.
